In Touch with our Youth March 2010

We have gone from Valentines’ Day to St. Patrick’s Day just that quick. And what a busy month March is going to be.
To start off, thank you for your generosity for the collection for our soup kitchen. Our teens collected $219.19. Again, thank you!
Next, I need all the High School Students who want to go to the Diocesan Youth Conference in West Plains to get their registration forms in by Friday, the 5th of March. The conference is the last week-end of the month, the 26th through the 28th. I must have at least one more parent to go with me as a chaperone or we cannot go.
On March 7th, we will be doing the second half of the Safe Environment program for our kids at PSR.

The teens will be having a 50-50 drawing and a St. Patrick’s dinner on the 14th of March. It will start right after PSR is finished that day and go until 2:30. The proceeds will go for the Spain trip for World Youth Day.
On the 20th of March, Bishop Johnston will be here for Confirmation. ALL the Confirmandi, both from Salem and Bunker need to meet with the Bishop at 4:00 pm that afternoon in the church basement. Confirmation for Salem will be at 5:30 pm Mass on Saturday and for Bunker on Sunday at 11:30 Mass. There will be a potluck dinner on Saturday to help celebrate the occasion and to have an opportunity to visit with the Bishop.
